• This unique product contains uva ursi leaf extract, berberine sulfate, bromelain, marshmallow root, buchu leaf extract, and bladderwrack leaf to help retard the growth of unhealthful organisms as well as support the growth of healthy organisms in the GI and urinary tract.

• Uva ursi contains the glycoside arbutin, which has antimicrobial properties and acts as a mild diuretic. Historically, it has been used to help keep the urinary tract sterile.

• Berberine sulfate is derived from the potent herb goldenseal, a plant known to have natural antibiotic properties. Berberine sulfate has demonstrated excellent broad spectrum support for the maintenance of healthy GI and urinary tract functioning.

• Bromelain is a natural enzyme derived from pineapples that helps digest proteins. Bromelain is also believed to have anti-inflammatory properties.

• Marshmallow root contains mucilage, a component which can form a soothing film over mucus membranes. It also contains additional soothing compounds including pectin, flavonoids, and phenolic acids, which have been used to treat mouth ulcers and sore throats dating back to ancient Egypt.

• Buchu leaf extract comes from a plant that has historically been used to aid the symptoms of urinary tract disorders.

• Bladder wrack leaf (Fucus vesiculosus) is a sea vegetable that was the original source of iodine in primitive societies. In addition to containing a natural source of iodine, it contains mucilage, algin, carotenoids, and many trace minerals to help nourish healthy GI and urinary tract functioning.
